He’s worked closely with a variety of artists including Wynton Marsalis, Maria Schneider, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and Sufjan Stevens-not to mention performing with the  Saturday Night Live  band, in Broadway orchestras, and on film soundtracks.

Dubbed the "King of DC piano" by the  Washington City Paper , Allyn Johnson is a respected DC mainstay, and he’s always a welcome addition to the New York scene when he’s in town. Johnson’s style ranges from straight-ahead jazz to contemporary gospel and electronic fusion. Tonight, audiences can expect a swinging, acoustic quartet performance.
